Saturday Night Drift! Yup, the fever is back but in sideways... :P

Calling all hardcore drifters & drift fans out there!
Scheduled for 10th September 2011, Speed City Kuala Lumpur is planning a very special SATURDAY NITE DRIFT Session for both drifters and drift fans in Klang Valley!
Drift fever is back again after the long fasting & Raya holidays. We held a closed practice session, with a similar course layout to FDSG as part of our efforts to give our Malaysian teams a short testing session before the actual Singapore event.
So now we’ve decided to bring you this track experience firsthand with our Saturday Nite Drift on the 10th  of September!
The beauty about this layout is Turn1. The run up to the first corner is on open ground. NO WALLS! Average entry speed is estimated at 80-90kmh. Drifters would be able to practice their wild entries without the worry of hitting any walls. Turn 2 sweeps round the main control tower area allowing the drifters to smoke up the main corner and keep us drift fans happy throughout the night. We have decided to take out the slight kink that emulates the final corner at FDSG to smoothen up the flow heading to the finish line.
We would say that this would be the safest layout for SCKL by far:
  • Initiation is taken away from the main wall.
  • You don’t have to carry any momentum into turn 2 (main wall area). It’s a driven corner.
  • And SCKL has added tire barriers to dampen any impact on to the main wall.
Entry fee is set at RM60/- per vehicle. We encourage all interested parties to register early either through emailspeedcitykl@gmail.com or calling us at             +60173274327       or simple just turn up on Saturday evening if that suits you best.
For email entries, pls provide us with:-
  • Full name
  • IC Number
  • Contact Number
  • Type of vehicle
For spectators and patrons of SCKL, entry fee is set at RM5/- all nite long!
SCKL is the only dedicated drift area in Klang Valley with proper seating area/grandstands for the comfort of our drift fans. SCKL also provides unique elevated standing area utilizing 9ft tall & 40ft long containers located at strategic areas with has an awesome view of the track.
Besides the track action, there will be an assortment of food & drinks available to satisfy your cravings.
SCKL will be displaying some wild Silvia’s for those of you curious about drift cars, or maybe catch a glimps of our “Prince of Drift” Tengku Djan tearing up the track in his 180SX!
So mark that date on your calendar and see you at Speed City KL this Saturday 10th September 2011!
DORIFTO TIME!
